Oscar Valente, CEO & COO,
We have lived through hectic, chaotic but fascinating times. The speed with which business models change, including business paradigms, force companies to design more flexible, more “agile” structures, with more standardized processes, automating functions that allow spending more time and resources to find new ways of doing things and to adapt to these changes that occur continuously.
Usually, companies in more traditional sectors have considered information technology consulting organizations as mere providers of "services", technical support and specific developments of computer programs.
However, today the role of Information Technology becomes essential for the future leadership of the company and is part of its growth strategy, being understood as a "strategic resource" and not as a simple service.
Hence the growing need for companies to integrate a more digital and technological approach into their core that allows them to adapt to the environment speed.
Until not long ago, SMEs, which had already been implementing this vision, centralized all this management in one person (IT manager) or a technology department that, although slowly, allowed them to keep up with the solutions that the environment demanded.
But, in this new environment in which technology advances faster and the company's sectors have a greater weight, it is more complex for a single person or a department to manage everything. Therefore, the need arises to have "technological partners" that allow outsourcing IT services, being part of the core of the company.
Technology partners are experts in technology and therefore should be up to date with all the news about it. In addition, they have multidisciplinary teams that can be the link between technology and the organization's processes, understanding the needs of the company and offering solutions that respond to them. In this way, they provide great competitive value, boosting productivity and fostering innovation and the best use of resources.
Because of this, we understand that, each time more, small and medium-sized companies that want to be competitive in such an uncertain environment choose to outsource their technology department, making it part of the company itself as its technology partners.
Anticipating this reality, in 2020, with MyTaskPanel Consulting we have made alliances, through participations or joint ventures, with more than one company in such different areas, such as shipping geolocation or biometric identification. This made us both partners or shareholders of the company and technological managers. In this way, we assume the commitment to take your IT products and infrastructures to the next level, to be more competitive in this new era of decentralized technology.
